Chloro-Cranium Collective

In the near future, as Earth’s plight worsened due to rampant deforestation and the relentless profit-at-any-cost mindset of corporations and governments, who funneled most resources into space travel and tourism, we could no longer stand idly by.

Haunted by the devastation of our planet, we, a disparate group of visionaries from diverse walks of life, came together, bound by a shared love for Earth and its forests. Our craniums now bear crowns of chlorophyll, living symbols of our unwavering commitment to the planet and our cause. We are the Choro-Cranium Collective.

Steps of Commitment

Under the shade of an ancient tree, we welcomed new members into the Chloro-Cranium Collective through a transformative ceremony. When my turn came, I bowed my head, feeling the significance of the moment. My hair was shaved, leaving a bare canvas for renewal, and a layer of nutrient-rich substrate was applied to prepare for the seed that would symbolize my bond with nature.

Barefoot, I circled the tree three times, each step a silent homage to life’s cycles. The rustle of leaves above and the crunch of earth beneath deepened my connection to the planet. Finally, I paused where I began. A member carefully sowed a seed on my scalp, a moment of rebirth, hope, and purpose. Holding the pledge, I joined my voice with others, our words echoing through the forest as we affirmed our commitment to protect and honor the Earth.
